Suzy Palladino recently checked out the Fossil Kit from SEDC and had this to say!
The other 4th grade teacher and I borrowed the fossil kit from SEDC to provide hands-on activities to go along with our Fossil Unit. We were very impressed with all the supplies. The kit included everything needed to set up “stations.” The students were so excited to become paleontologists! They compared and contrasted fossils and non-fossils with a venn diagram while learning how fossils are made. They measured and drew fossils to scale. They learned about herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores while observing jaws and teeth. The excitement and learning was so fun to watch! I will definitely borrow this kit again!
